I finished no longer human on the thirteenth. I liked the second half more than the first. I think I liked it because he had more reasons to hate himself other than percieved social failure and dishonesty. Innocence is not something it is safe to ascribe to people because when they are inevitably hurt, violated, or changed, you mourn this quality that was taken, from them rather than the person themselves.
